Strict Privacy Rule on Business Verification Data

GST Numbers (`gst_number`) and Business Registration/CIN Numbers (`registration_number`) submitted during company onboarding or profile editing are strictly used for internal business verification. These raw numbers are NEVER exposed, rendered, or shared on any talent-facing page, public profile, API endpoint, or tooltip. Only a non-sensitive "✓ Verified" status pill is displayed publicly.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you directly provide when setting up a profile, listing an opportunity, or submitting an application:

  • Talent Profiles: Full name, role title, skills, location, bio, and portfolio URLs.
  • Company Profiles: Company name, hiring focus, about description, and optional verification details.
  • Listing & Application Data: Listing titles, compensation ranges, meeting times, external meeting links, and candidate application statuses.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is processed to deliver core platform services:

  • To match talent with relevant company opportunities across categories.
  • To display candidate applicant rosters to verified company listers.
  • To coordinate scheduled meetings via direct meeting links.
  • To maintain feed ranking integrity and simulated payment verification.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

OppSpaces does not sell or rent personal data to third-party advertisers. Information is only shared between Talent and Lister profiles to facilitate legitimate application reviews and scheduled onboarding meetings.

4. Your Controls & Data Retention

You can edit your profile information at any time via the Profile Menu Hub (`/profile`). Companies may close or reopen listings at their discretion.
